When the youngest runs like the wind, and the oldest sets the pace.🏃♂️💨    Yesterday, at the famous Danish DHL Relay in Copenhagen, our two youngest runners breezed through the finish line in just 18 and 21 minutes – like it was nothing. But that’s not all... our third fastest? One of our amazing 61-year-old colleagues, who also completed his very first Ironman a week and a half ago! 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️    At Hovmand, age is just a number, and ambition isn’t just a company value – it’s part of who we are.    Whether running a relay or innovating lifting solutions, it’s about challenging ourselves. And the best part? The unbeatable team spirit and shared determination that kept us going. Did you know that it was illegal for two men to dance together in public in Denmark up until 1973? At Hovmand, Pride means more than just celebrations and cookies (though they disappeared faster than we could say “equality!”). 🌈 It’s about conversations, curiosity, and knowing not just how we celebrate but also why. Therefore, our Project Manager from People & Culture, Emilie gave us a quick history lesson: “Pride is more than just a parade. It’s a tribute to those who first stood up in 1969 at the Stonewall Riots in New York and fought back – and a reminder that the fight continues with the parade today.” And about the dancing men - as Emilie puts it: “Luckily, that sounds so silly today — but also, it really wasn’t very long ago.” Knowing this history makes it clear why we march in the parade and why diversity matters: When everyone can be themselves, we create a happier, more creative, and inclusive workplace. Yesterday was a heartwarming, touching one at our office in Køge. Why? We celebrated Morten Vibe Hansen's incredible 25-year journey with Hovmand 😍 Morten started with us on August 2, 1999, when we were just 17 employees. His first task was assembling a stair trolley. Only 13 days later, he was promoted to foreman 💪 No doubt, we could have spoken for hours about Morten's unique qualities. Throughout his time with us, Morten has worn many hats, constantly seeking new knowledge to meet customer needs and improve our products. His deep understanding of our company’s history and operations is invaluable ⭐ Everyone at the office can vouch for the fact that Morten is always ready to help colleagues with a smile. He often prioritises others, both personally and professionally, even when his own desk is overflowing. His dedication truly embodies the spirit of Hovmand 🧑🤝🧑 Thank you, Morten, for your 25 years of outstanding service and commitment! 🥂 As his colleague Brian said at the end of his speech: "Morten, thank you for being YOU.
