Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada is entering the transfer portal per Pete Nakos of On3 Sports. He appeared in just three games for the Sun Devils as a true freshman in 2023 and will have four years of eligibility remaining.

Rashada was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2023 and was originally committed to Miami before flipping to rival Florida and signing his national letter of intent with the Gators. However, he was famously granted a release from the program just one month later after a reported lucrative NIL deal fell through. He ultimately settled on Arizona State, joining new head coach Kenny Dillingham. The prized QB started the first two games of ASU’s season before suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for most of the year. He’d return for the season finale against rival Arizona, where he went 10-22 for 82 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. A thumb injury sidelined him for spring practice and he ultimately decided to once again start over by jumping into the transfer portal.
