UFC 302 gets going this Saturday, June 1 with a 12-fight card. The event takes place live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The night culminates in a lightweight title showdown between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier.
The early preliminary card starts up at 6 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass followed by the prelims at 8 p.m. on ESPN 2/ESPN+. Main card coverage begins at 10 p.m. on ESPN+PPV.
In the main event, Makhachev looks to successfully defend his lightweight title for a third time. The reigning champion defeated Charles Oliveira in October 2022 to capture the title and followed that up with a pair of wins over Alexander Volkanovski. Poirier is coming off a KO win over Benoit St-Denis at UFC 299. The veteran challenger held a brief stint as interim lightweight titleholder in 2019.
