Reigning WBO junior welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13 KOs) takes on Steve Claggett (38-7-2, 26 KOs) this Saturday, June 29. The 12-round title fight will air on ESPN+, live from the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. Coverage of the card begins at 10 p.m. ET.
Lopez returns to the ring following an unanimous decision win over Jamaine Ortiz in February. “The Takeover” has won his last four bouts, including an upset against Josh Taylor last June. Before Lopez and Claggett clash, the co-main event features the return of former featherweight champion Robeisy Ramirez (13-2, 8 KOs) opposite Brandon Leon Benitez (21-2, 9 KOs). Ramirez is a -3500 betting favorite to win, while Benitez enters with +1100 underdog odds on Draftkings Sportsbook.
Lopez is a -1100 betting favorite in the main event, as Claggett enters with +750 underdog odds. The favored method of victory is Lopez by KO/TKO (-145).
