Voltas shares gain 0.79% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 1531.7 on BSE at 11:52AM (IST) on Monday, up 0.79 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 745.0 and a high of Rs 1550.5.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 201.0 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 7.62 per share and 6.27 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 9,764 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:52AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 50651.84 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 96.89 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 28.96 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1534.8 and Rs 1515.0.

Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2024. FII and MF ownership in Voltas Ltd. stood at 14.71 per cent and 24.17 per cent, respectively.
