Company History - Neha International Ltd.
The Company was originally incorporated as "Campasino

Limited Company and subsequently changed its name as "Neha

International Limited". The company has obtained the Certificate

objective of the company is to set-up a Floriculture project

for growing cutflowers, mostly Roses, for export.

For the VIII plan period, the Government of India has identified

floriculture as one of the thrust areas for increasing Foreign

Exchange earnings. India has several advantages such as moderate

climatic conditions, abundant sunshine, suitable soils, low cost

of skilled and unskilled labour which make the growing of

flowers possible round the year and at a low cost. This apart

India is strategically located as it is close to major

consumption centres - Japan, M. East, Far East and Europe. There

is also a vast potential in the domestic market which can absorb

the non-exportable grade of flowers. This encouraged the

promoters of Neha International Limited to put up a

Floriculture project on commercial lines exclusively for

exports. The promoters visited Holland in October 1993 to Study

the global scenario on Floriculture products and formed the

Company for this purpose. The company acquired land measuring

28.325 acres at Wadgaon Maval near Pune. The Company approached

Canara Bank and State Bank of Hyderabad in January 1994 for a

term loan and National Horticulture Board for a soft loan and
