    Origin and Background

    Tower of God is an anime adaptation of a South Korean manhwa by SIU, the pen name of Lee Jong-hui. The first season, animated by Telecom Animation Film, ran for 13 episodes. The story follows Bam, voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch and Taichi Ichikawa, as he climbs a mythical tower in search of Rachel, voiced by Valerie Rose Lohman and Saori Hayami.

    Plot and Characters

    The second season will adapt the Return of the Prince arc from the original webtoon. This arc is set six years after the events of Season 1. New characters will be introduced, adding depth to the story. The manhwa, available in English on Line Webtoon, began in 2010 and has been printed by Young Com.

    Crunchyroll has teased the new season with a synopsis: Ja Wangnan struggles to pass the 20th floor but refuses to give up. He meets Viole, a powerful character, and invites him to join his team of Regulars. Their journey is filled with new challenges.

    Akira Suzuki will direct Season 2, with The Answer Studio handling animation. The voice cast includes Yuma Uchida as Ja Wangnan, Sayumi Watabe as Yeon Yihwa, Yu Shimamura as Yeo Goseng, Saki Miyashita as Yeo Miseng, Kenichiro Matsuda as Kang Horyang, Kento Shiraishi as Hon Arkraptor, Kengo Kawanishi as Prince, Natsuko Abe as Nia, Naoki Irie as Rai, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Khun Aguero Agnis.
