Paschim Petrochem Ltd. (PPL) was originally incorporated as Paschim Petrochem Private Ltd. on June 18, 1983 under the Companies Act, 1956 and converted into a Public Limited Company by passing a special resolution on April 30, 1992. The name was consequently changed to Paschim Petrochem Ltd. vide certificate of change of name dated May 22, 1992, obtained from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. PPL has been in the business of trading in petrobase oil, petroleum products and lubricating oils. PPL commenced the construction of a semi commercial plant (pilot plant) with a capacity of 100 tpa for the manufacture of Para Diethyl Benzene at Baroda and started trial production in May 1994. | ||
