      Siemens saw a 25% rise in profit after tax at Rs 531 crore for the April-June quarter, driven by higher revenues. The company's revenues increased by 7% to Rs 4,714 crore, and new orders were up by 18% at Rs 6,245 crore. The CEO noted strong performance across businesses, except in the Digital Industries segment.

      Siemens India Q3 FY24 net profit jumps 27% YoY to Rs 578 crore

      The company follows an October–September period to report its quarterly results. Total revenue was up 7% at Rs 5203 crore against Rs 4873 crore. The company’s new orders stood at Rs. 6,245 crore, an increase of 18% over the same period last year. Revenue from energy segment declined from Rs 1,518 crore to Rs 1,485 crore year-on-year.

      Berger Paints Q1 Results: Net profit falls marginally YoY to Rs 354 crore even as India volumes grow 12%

      At a standalone level, the paint-maker’s sales rose 2.4% on year to Rs 2,806.3 crore, but net profit declined by more than 6% to Rs 305.5 crore. Berger Paints, which is among the largest paint-makers in the country, improved its market share to 20.9% during the quarter, up from 19.7% in the previous fiscal.

      RVNL shares fall over 4% after Q1 profit declines 35% YoY

      Rail Vikas Nigam's shares dropped 4.5% to Rs 514 as the company posted a 35% year-on-year decline in net profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024. The firm's revenue also declined by 27%, reaching Rs 4,074 crore. EBITDA fell 48% YoY, reducing profit margins.

      SAIL Q1 Results: Net profit slumps 93% YoY to Rs 11 crore on weak pricing, exceptional item

      The steel maker had an exceptional loss of Rs 312 crore. The state-owned steel company reported a 3% year-on-year increase in steel sales during the quarter, reaching 4.01 million tonnes. Despite a slight 1.5% decrease in revenue to Rs 23,998 crore, the company's core operations remained strong with a 15% rise in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to Rs 2,420 crore.

      Shree Cement Q1 Results: During the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, the company reported a 1.75% increase in revenue from operations, reaching Rs 5,123.9 crore compared to Rs 5,035.6 crore in the same period last year. Total expenses also rose by 4.4% to Rs 4,618 crore from Rs 4,422 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. Despite these figures, the company's stock price experienced a slight decline of 0.2% to Rs 26,682 following the release of the earnings report.

      Bharti Airtel reported a significant increase in its consolidated net profit for Q1 FY25, rising more than 150% year-over-year and doubling sequentially, driven by exceptional gains, improved average revenue per user (ARPU), and reduced finance costs.       Tata Motors reported a 74% YoY increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 5,566 crore for Q1 June 2024, slightly above the Street estimate of Rs 5,486 crore. Revenue rose 6% YoY to Rs 1.08 lakh crore but fell short of the estimated Rs 1.15 lakh crore. The company achieved an EBIT of Rs 9,100 crore with an EBIT margin of 8.4%, up 30 basis points YoY.

      Ambuja Cements Q1 Results: Standalone profit falls 12% YoY to Rs 571 crore, revenue drops 5%

      Ambuja Cements saw an 11.5% drop in standalone profit to Rs 571 crore for the June quarter. Revenue decreased 4.5% to Rs 4,516 crore. Operating EBITDA fell to Rs 646 crore, and EBITDA margin dropped to 14.3%. Sales volume grew by 3%, and kiln fuel costs were reduced by 17%. CEO Ajay Kapur emphasized cost-cutting initiatives.

      Tata Consumer Q1 Results: Cons PAT falls 8% YoY to Rs 290 crore; misses estimates

      Revenue from operations in the reporting period rose 16% year-on-year to Rs 4,352 crore as against Rs 3,741 crore in the previous year period. The decline in profit was due to higher exceptional items and a reduced share of profits from associates and joint ventures. During the quarter, the India Beverages business saw a 6% increase in revenue (1% organic growth), despite being affected by an intense summer. In contrast, coffee maintained a strong performance, with a 28% revenue growth for the quarter.
