The Supply Chain Director and will be accountable for the following job responsibilities:-
- Manage the different aspects of the supply chain including MRP Full Implementation &S/D, sourcing Strategy, foreign purchasing/local purchasing, hedging strategy, logistics, warehousing ,distribution, inventory management, customs temporary exemption and draw back system.
- Work closely with suppliers and customers to improve SC operations, delivery and reduce cost
- - Develop and manage Materials Requirement Planning function MRP for goods and materials to achieve the company master plan according to agreed annual budget.
- Create item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.
- Build a safety stock according to historical data to insure material availability all time.
-Regular negotiation with key suppliers to get the best prices, payment and delivery terms.
-Apply the open account payment strategy with key foreign and local suppliers.
- Creates full integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and suppliers to manage properly the Planning & replenishment process.
-Lead re-engineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems.
- Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts
- Establish key performance indicators for all SC staff according to company objectives and agreed annual budget.
-Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Develops and coordinates new policies and procedures regarding procurement processes.
- Control purchasing department budgets.
