For some reason, the cover preview of this Dorothy Sayers murder mystery on my library’s website is actually the Cat in the Hat. I’m not saying there isn’t a lot of character overlap between the Cat and Peter Wimsey, but I still don’t think this is quite right.

what you have to understand is that tattoos and piercings are both body modification but serve completely different purposes. piercings are for ridding the body of bad vibes (creating a hole lets them out). tattoos are for when you are having difficulty keeping your soul attached to your body, because the tattooing process stitches it back in place
