Prijedor is a town in the North of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is about 50 km west of Banja Luka.

The city had a hard time during the 1992-95 war, but now boasts of being one of the few really multi-ethnic towns in the country. The town is in the Republika Sprska.

Get in

There is a daily direct bus connection from Dubrovnik, over Split and Makarska, and it also lies on the Zagreb-Sarajevo train-line.
