Exciting News: The "Component Generator" is Coming Soon! 🎉 This summer, our development team is gearing up to work on the "Component Generator," a key feature that will be part of the 011h Designer Toolkit. What is a Component Generator? At 011h, we build using components—facades, slabs, roofs, balconies, and more—all of which include elements like doors, windows, and spaces for vertical and horizontal installations. But our focus isn’t just on the individual components; we also consider how they fit together seamlessly. Our goal is to create a master set of REVIT families that correspond directly to these components. This will enable components to be automatically loaded with all the necessary information into our building models, making it easy to replicate them across different floors. 🌍 Designing Healthy Spaces at 011h 🏢 At 011h, we're dedicated to creating healthy and comfortable environments by ensuring superior indoor air quality. In our latest project, the Casernes building, which includes 56 affordable rental units for the City of Barcelona, we focused on:   ✅ Controlling emissions from interior finishing materials to minimize VOCs and formaldehyde, both classified as harmful substances. ✅ Conducting thorough air quality tests post-construction to ensure optimal results.   Aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and other sustainability indicators like ESG and CSRD, we are proud to report that our recent measurements were successful, reaffirming our commitment to tenant health. #sustainableconstruction #reducecarboonfootprint

🚀 Place Opening - Automated Cost Management 🚀 We are excited to continue the presentation of #PlaceOpening, an innovative tool from the Designer Toolkit. In this second part, we focus on how the tool facilitates the automatic generation of detailed budgets.   🔑 How does it work?   1️⃣ IFC Modeling: We generate an IFC file of the Project, ensuring a solid and detailed foundation 2️⃣ Integration with Presto-IFC: Using the Presto-IFC plug-in and the Cost-IFC module, we efficiently import the IFC model 3️⃣ 011h Psets Profile: We load the predefined Psets profile by 011h, configuring the necessary parameters to automatically generate #WorkItems 4️⃣ Automatic Linking: We link the elements to our #WorkItems database and Budget chapters, ensuring precise and transparent management. 5️⃣ Open-IFC Visualization: We obtain a detailed budget, viewable directly in the model with the Open-IFC viewer, facilitating clear and accessible review.   🌟 Key Benefits: Efficiency and Precision: Automation of budget generation, saving time and minimizing errors.
