Google four years after announcing the end of 3rd party cookies still incapable of finding a solution to replace them. Instead they will try to resort to giving the user the option to accept this (not sure how this is different from today). Anthony C., who leads the Google Privacy Sandbox made the announcement. Kahoona has a working alternative to the intrusive and privacy-breaking 3rd party cookies. Here Edo Perry is sharing the sacrifices he has had to make for his startup. This is very typical, most committed entrepreneurs have to make these sacrifices. It is the darker side of entrepreneurship which is less talked about. It's less talked about because we need more entrepreneurs and so we do not want to discourage them by sharing how tough it really is. Also, being as an entrepreneur you need to project success to attract success, but the truth is that it's a constant struggle. It's a lonely path, many times only your co-founders or other entrepreneurs will understand you. At Cardumen Capital, the founders made and continue to make many of those sacrifices. It is true however, that the duration of the funds eases off some of the short term pressure that entrepreneurs continue to face (viability-wise). Building a VC is not the same as building a SAAS startup, not at all, but it does share similar experiences (rejection, no salary, cost, financial/time commitment, 24/7) Keep pushing Edo Perry!
