Yalin Memorial Colloquium (#YMC2023) was held in Palermo, Italy, from January 26 to 27, 2023. 👨🏻🏫 The M.S. Yalin Memorial Colloquium (YMC) is a two-annual appointment organized in honor and in memory of M.S. Yalin, Professor Emeritus of Queen's University - Kingston- Ontario (CANADA), who passed away on March 19, 2007. 💧 This edition pays special attention to the interaction processes between water-biota-sediment triad and the complex phenomena involving turbulence, deposition and erosion processes, mixing and diffusion of substances and nutrients, flora and fauna influences. 📄 After the review process, 32 abstracts were accepted according to the following sessions: Theme 1.
