📢REWAISE EU project team attended a workshop in #Brussels, organized by the #CIRSEAUcluster 🌍💧🔛 🙋♀️This event brought together project officers from the five sister-projects under the #H2020 framework, aimed at building a water-smart #economy and society🌊🔄 The #CIRSEAUcluster workshop featured several case study presentations👇👇👇 💧B-WaterSmart Project: A case study from Mechelen, Flanders, that demonstrates the use of urban stormwater for agricultural purposes, showing potential benefits such as increased water availability and decreased groundwater pressure. 💧 ULTIMATE Water EU Focused on water reuse in the Kalundborg Industrial Symbiosis in Denmark, highlighting the importance of developing water-smart industrial symbiosis. 💧REWAISE EU project: Presented the Almeria case study in Spain, which focuses on water reuse and resource recovery in one of Europe’s driest regions. The project promotes a paradigm shift towards a carbon-neutral water cycle. 💧WIDER UPTAKE EU Project: Discusses urban wastewater reuse for irrigation in Prague, addressing the challenges of water scarcity and promoting sustainable water management. 💧WATER-MINING H2020: Explores circular desalination in Cyprus, aiming to enhance water resilience and reduce dependency on imported resources. 👉More information: https://lnkd.in/dmgQ6Kum

📢REWAISE EU project continues its Go-to-Market initiatives at BlueTech Forum 2024🎉 💡The REWAISE EU project teams returned to BlueTech Forum in #Edinburgh, sponsoring the event and showcasing key innovations in water technology💧🔁 Highlights included👇 🔹Dr Sonja Ostojin (Environmental Monitoring Solutions) and Julen Mendizabal Bengoetxea (Severn Trent) shared insights into the collaboration between suppliers and utilities in the #REWAISE project during the 5x5 Partnership Stories session 🔹Søren Robenhagen (Aquaporin A/S) and Frank Rogalla (Aqualia) presented several pilots with bio-mimetic membranes for low-energy RO in Spain 🔹Izabela Ratman-Klosinska (#IETU) introduced the ETV methodology from the LIFEproETV project, while Ola Hansson presented the #WINCubator, an accelerator for start-ups within #REWAISE, sharing his experiences from the event 💧All #REWAISE participants engaged in the "Thinking Hats" sessions, brainstorming solutions to industry challenges. 🌞 Even in the summer, our team keeps promoting REWAISE results. 💧 This time, Lorenzo Ventimiglia, currently a PhD student at the Università degli Studi di Palermo (UNIPA), attended the International Conference on WIDER UPTAKE EU Project . 📢 This was the final conference of the project alongside the International Water Association, with a special focus on Water Resource Recovery from Wastewater Treatment, and it was held in Palermo, from the 18th to the 21st of June. Lorenzo presented a work on “Magnesium Hydroxide Production at a Pilot Scale: Exploitation of Different Mg2+-containing Solutions”. Thanks for your efforts, Lorenzo and University of Palermo team! 🙌

😀 Our team from CALAGUA, University of Valencia, has been doing a great job disseminating REWAISE results! They have attended the XV Congreso Español de Tratamiento de Aguas, where they presented a poster, as well as the Young Water Professionals European Conference 2024, where they participated through an oral communication. 💡 Our team doesn't stop promoting REWAISE good results! This time, our colleagues Xuefei Yang, Saínza Arufe Salgado, Daiane Trevisan Ruwer and Julio Fierro Fernández attended the XV Congreso español de Tratamiento de Aguas in A Coruña, Spain. There, they presented several projects where CETIM Technological Centre is participating, including REWAISE. Shout-out to their efforts! 🙌
