    🌟 That's a wrap on this year's Cannes! 🎬 It’s been an incredible experience connecting with some great folks and sharing insights that are shaping the future of our industry. Highlights from the second day at Cannes included “The Future of Shopping” on the GroupM Rooftop with Amazon and Colgate-Palmolive, as well as insightful commerce panels on the WPP Beach with Instacart and DoorDash. Here are some key takeaways: 📊 Data-Driven Diversity: Use all your data to create diverse and rich online experiences for consumers, avoiding the urge to follow only the most popular data signals. 🚀 Innovative Mentality: The “learn fast, fail fast, scale fast” mentality will continue to drive our industry forward. 📱 Stoppable Video & Social Commerce: These will keep growing as they become more seamless and frictionless experiences. 🌍 Generational & Local Nuances: Gen Z is pushing brands to rethink content creation and authenticity in completely new ways. 🛍️ AI-Enhanced Shopping: Consumers have the tools to traverse the shopping funnel completely, and this will only get easier with AI. Amazon Live proves this point. 🔄 Non-Linear Frameworks: Linear shopping frameworks will lead us astray, especially for organizations organizing their budgets around the funnel (brand, performance, etc.). We need to get comfortable with the uncomfortable as we navigate these changes. At the end of the day, consumers are counting on all of us in the industry to get this right. As Instacart’s Fidji Simo reminds us, consumers rely on us to put food on their tables and connect them with products that enhance their quality of life. This is what it’s all about.
