On the 4th day of our #YepCodeLaunchWeek, we’re excited to unveil one of the most valuable features for our users: YepCode Listeners 📥 Responding to a highly requested feature from many of our enterprise clients, we’re thrilled to introduce the ability to start process executions in an event-driven architecture. While webhooks have allowed for HTTP payload parameter acceptance, we now offer a comprehensive solution for listening to events on external systems, such as Mail servers, Kafka or MQ queues, out-of-the-box. With the new Listeners module, you can define connections to these systems, enabling user code to run for each new event received. For example, you can now execute code when an event arrives in an MQ queue or monitor an IMAP mailbox for new emails. In the coming weeks, we’ll also add support for Kafka and AWS SQS queues. Of course, we’re eager to hear your suggestions for additional listener implementations Check out our documentation to get started with this powerful new module. It’s straightforward and designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing workflows!

Let’s go for the 3rd day on our #YepCodeLaunchWeek 🤘 You know that YepCode allows you to manage different versions of your processes and modules, so then you may start execution using an specific version of the source code. This is great, but we wanted to go beyond… so we have introduced YepCode Version Aliases 🏷️ that are pointers to a process version that you can update with ease. This feature addresses the need to change the version used by an external service without deploying changes to that service. Consider a scenario where an external service calls YepCode via a webhook, specifying a process version (e.g., v1.0) in the invocation header. When you release a new process version (e.g., v2.0) and want to switch to it, updating the external service can be cumbersome. Instead, by using an alias in the webhook invocation (e.g., stable), initially linked to version v1.0, you can seamlessly transition to version v2.0 by simply updating the alias in the YepCode UI 🤩 This approach eliminates the need to modify the external service, making version management more efficient. Version aliases can be used exactly in the same scenarios where process versions are available: run now, webhooks or scheduled configurations. https://lnkd.in/dVMnvpCV Let’s keep coding! 🤓
