We are the Association of Industrial Design, ADI-FAD, passionate about product design and technology. We are the interlocutors for the professionals community, students and businesses that love this discipline.

We are strong believers in our mission: to spread awareness of our profession’s importance in society.
We look out for good design and aim to improve our material surroundings for the wellbeing of people and an equilibrium with nature.

Our journey began in 1960, a time when design was barely spoken of in Spain. Since then, ADI-FAD has been working continuously for excellence in the practices of product design and the dissemination of the culture of design.

At ADI-FAD we believe in a culture of people-based projects and promote design as an open instrument for creating ideas with the ability to generate social, cultural and business enrichment.

We are activists in the quest for excellence. Since 1962 we organize the Delta Awards for Industrial Design, which have been won by some of the most renowned Spanish designer products in recent history.

Since 1976 we recognize with the ADI Medals the best dissertation projects in the field of industrial design. In 2016 we launched the first call for the ADI Culture Awards. Today, the three recognitions are gathered under the ADI Awards concept.

The ADI-FAD is the benchmark association for product design in Spain and is a full member of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID) since 1961.
