My current focus is on the Transformation of Food Systems to make them more sustainable, fair, equitable, and healthy. After being a member of a public research and innovation institution in this field for many years, I can provide a comprehensive understanding of the main related trends and contribute to connecting them to our regional context. I am passionate about understanding the key processes and tools of transformative innovation to apply them in the agri-food sector.
My primary goal is to raise awareness about the need and urgency to change trajectories, and helping to activate action to co-create more sustainable and regenerative food systems, specially by fostering bottom-up initiatives.
I firmly believe in the fundamental role of knowledge agents and their interaction with the other elements of the system to achieve this change.
