What you’ll be doing:
A strong and varied showreel that covers motion graphics, character animation, visual effects and storytelling
Very good understanding of animation principles, such as timing, key poses, squash and stretch, anticipation, follow-through, etc.
The ability to construct clear storyboards and mockups that visually communicate a sequence of ideas
Ability to work within an art team, manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines
Good understanding of a skeletal animation program such as Spine
Good knowledge of an animation program such as Animate, Toon Boom or After Effects
Ability to develop various appealing animations and adapt to existing styles and guidelines set by Art Leads and Art Director
A communicator with the ability to verbalise conceptual thoughts and with an openness to constructive criticism
Knowledge of other Adobe packages like Photoshop
Understanding how to compile animations for a game pipeline
What you’ll bring to the party:
Create high-quality storyboards and animations in all areas of the game such as symbols, characters, backgrounds and UI
Take direction, iterate on look and feel, gather feedback from the entire team, and participate in the review of the full production of the animation in the game
Work closely with Art Leads, Game Designers and Developers to detail the goals and implement animations into the game
