In the Diabetes Division of Medtronic Iberia, the Phygital Training Project Specialist is a professional who, reporting to the Technical Consultant Manager, works directly in a virtual way to educate patients for insulin pump and/or sensor therapy. The patients, selected by the diabetes doctor, are then referred to the Phygital Training Project Specialist directly by field colleagues (Therapy Sales Specialists).
The Phygital Training Project Specialist is therefore the reference web-based figure for patients who use our devices, a professional guide specialized in virtual activities and competent on the technical aspects of individual products. The activity of the Phygital Training Project Specialist provides about 80% of virtual trainings for patients and about 20% of activities in the territory at the centers, independently if required, as support to the Therapy Sales Specialists.
It is therefore necessary that this figure interacts, at least periodically and when necessary, with the healthcare personnel (HCP) representatives of the centers and constantly interfaces with Therapy Sales Specialists, Therapy Training Specialists, Therapy Sales Coordinators and District Managers, in order to better organize their remote support.
