Job Role: Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interior Designer to join our dynamic studio. This role supports both the interior design team and the wider business on all projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with a flexible, responsive, and proactive approach. The successful candidate will lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring all aspects are meticulously executed. Applicants should excel in team-oriented settings, possess strong organizational skills, and be capable of independently managing their workload.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead projects from concept to completion, overseeing all aspects of the build.
• Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Presentation Skills: Present design concepts and material details effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Detailing: Prepare detailed specifications for carpentry and other required materials.
• Organizational Skills: Maintain strong organizational skills to manage schedules, administration, and furniture packages for individual clients.
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring concepts are fully explained and documented.
• Installation Assistance: Attend and assist with project installations, ensuring seamless execution.
• Sample Management: Maintain and manage design samples, continually improving and extending supplier networks.
• Collaboration: Create strong links with the architectural team, ensuring alignment on finishing decisions and aesthetic choices.
• Client Engagement: Be forward-thinking in understanding and anticipating client needs, proposing appropriate finishes and furnishings.
• Team Meetings: Participate in weekly meetings with the Lead Architect to confirm and follow up on interior design items.

• Experience: Proven track record of managing and leading interior design projects from concept to completion.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a high level of organization.
• Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring all project elements are thoroughly followed through to completion.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in presenting detailed design concepts, including materials and carpentry specifications.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing project requirements and client needs.
• Leadership: Capable of leading a team and taking initiative to drive projects forward.
