Protecnium is a leading international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services. We are seeking a Construction Assistant / Junior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team for a construction project based in Stade, Germany.

Job Title: Construction Assistant / Junior Civil Engineer

Type of Project: Regasification Terminal

Location: Stade, Germany

Duration: 2 years - Upon project completion, efforts will be made to transition the candidate to other projects for continued employment.

Language Required: English (B2), German is desirable

Work Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week

Mission:

Accurately interpret the project and plans, and check the daily execution of the work to ensure that the work units meet the objective conditions for their acceptance.

Responsibilities:

- Review the contract and documentation of assigned projects, and create sketches or detailed plans to complement this documentation and clarify its execution.

- Measure the various project units, either on plans or in the executed project, establishing a complete relationship.

- Calculate and apply all types of unit prices to value and certify the project as a whole, and maintain administrative control of daily reports and necessary permits.

- Perform inspection and testing tasks for the project, documenting them to certify compliance with standards.

- Address and resolve non-conformities arising from the identification of elements, materials, equipment, or environmental incidents that do not meet requirements.

- Perform any other complementary tasks necessary for the development of job functions.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Civil Engineering

- Experience in civil works or building construction, particularly in concrete structures.

- High level of English (B2-C1)

- German is desirable

- PRL (Health and Safety at Work) certification is desirable
