About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Identify compelling sports stories and generate diverse content focused on the NFL, NBA, and soccer for our US cities (Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, etc.).
• Craft engaging, accurate, and informative articles efficiently.
• Ensure all site copy and headlines adhere to editorial guidelines and our style guide.
• Collaborate on an editorial calendar that balances news, reviews, and city-centric content, from trending stories to planned campaigns.
• Create SEO-friendly posts (SEO training will be provided).
• Assist in promotional efforts and collaborate with our Social Media Networking team under manager guidance.
• Use analytics to refine your content strategy and make necessary adjustments.
  
  

About You

We're looking for candidates who:

• Have native-level proficiency in written and spoken English, with a fluent/bilingual level in Spanish.
• Demonstrate experience in digital writing, specifically focused on sports news and/or journalism.
• Possess deep knowledge of sports culture and trending topics.
• Have a keen understanding of what makes stories shareable on social platforms.
• Are proficient with social and digital publishing tools.
• Employ a methodical approach to efficiently managing their beat.
