Kevin Smith’s upcoming ”Jersey Girl” is shaping up to be the earthy director’s most star-studded production ever. Liv Tyler is negotiating to join a cast that already includes Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, Variety reports. In an apparent nod to Smith’s breakthrough film ”Clerks,” Tyler would play a video store clerk who enters the lives of the married couple played by Affleck and Lopez, according to Variety. Affleck and Tyler (who’s busy appearing in all three ”Lord of the Rings” flicks) last teamed up in 1998’s ”Armageddon”…

After ”Scooby-Doo” gobbled up $54 million worth of box office Scooby snacks in its first weekend, Warner Bros. has fast-tracked a sequel. The full cast — Matthew Lillard, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Linda Cardellini — is set to return for a second ”Doo,” which is expected in 2004, Variety reports.
