Best of the creepy lot is ”Children of the Black Mound,” written by Fabian Nicieza and drawn by Stefano Raffaele, wherein Joseph Stalin has a formative encounter with Hellboy foil Baba Yaga. A must for fans of Mike Mignola’s retro-cool creation — but newcomers beware.
