If you happen to be Rachel (Kathryn Hahn), mixing it up hinges on your decision to invite a stripper to be your live-in nanny. Rachel doesn’t fit into her life, with her social-media-obsessed housewife friends and a distant husband, and decides to take matters into her own hands by learning to get in touch with her sexuality under the keen tutelage of a 19-year-old “sex worker.” Afternoon Delight also stars Josh Radnor as the uninterested husband, Jane Lynch as a dry, to-the-point therapist and Juno Temple as the stripper/nanny. The film, which won the directing award and was nominated for the Grand Jury award when it premiered this year at the Sundance Film Festival, goes wide later this year.
