Lauryn Hill appeared in a video Wednesday with black and Palestinian activists, in support of freedom and justice. Called “When I See Them I See Us,” the video shows Hill holding a sign emblazoned with the words, “Free All Political Prisoners.”

The clip comes out five months after Hill canceled a performance in Tel Aviv after the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement spoke out about her planned show. After she called off the concert, the singer wrote a post on Facebook that said she wouldn’t perform in Israel because she couldn’t also perform for Palestinians living in the West Bank.

“Setting up a performance in the Palestinian Territory, at the same time as our show in Israel, proved to be a challenge,” she wrote. “It is very important to me that my presence or message not be misconstrued, or a source of alienation to either my Israeli or my Palestinian fans.”

The video released Wednesday also features appearances from Cornel West, Alice Walker, Danny Glover, academics, artists, and activists. See the video below.
