That's the premise of a cute deleted scene from Pixar's Inside Out, which features Riley accompanying her dad on Take Your Daughter to Work Day. The black-and-white rough animated scene tracks Riley as she begins her day full of excitement. She's absolutely thrilled to head into work with her father, especially since among the elementary set, Take Your Daughter to Work Day is unofficially known as "No School Day." However, her enthusiasm subsides when she realizes sitting in commuting traffic and proofreading copy isn't at all fun. (It's actually really, really boring.) It's definitely comedic fodder, especially when her outspoken emotions chime in with their own commentary about the day's activities.
