Director Mick Garris (Sleepwalkers) has announced that both he and his fellow Master of Horror Joe Dante (Gremlins) will direct segments of an anthology movie called Nightmare Cinema.

Nightmare Cinema will begin shooting in early 2016,” Garris wrote on his Facebook page Sunday. “It is a collection of five stories from five esteemed horror filmmakers from around the world (okay, four plus me). Joe Dante, Japan’s Ryuhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train, Versus) David Slade (Hannibal, 30 Days of Night, Hard Candy) from from the U.K., and the Cuban director Alejandro Brugues (Juan of the Dead) will each be directing scripts from RC Matheson, Mexican author Sandra Becerril, David Slade, and myself!”

Garris also announced that his video interview series Post Mortem, in which he interviews horror notables, will be returning next year.

Garris and Dante both directed episodes for Showtime’s Masters of Horror show and Garris is a frequent contributor to Dante’s essential-viewing-for-cult-film-fans website, Trailers from Hell.
