The Muppets: Kodachrome cover hilariously honors Paul Simon hit

While many of us recover from gorging on Christmas Day roasts and pies, sit back and relax to a cover of Paul Simon‘s “Kodachrome” as performed by The Muppets.

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem take center stage during this colorful performance, while recorded reactions of Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and more characters from the ABC series dance around on the stage screens.

“I asked [Electric Mayhem] for a song to release on Christmas,” Kermit wrote on Twitter. “So in typical fashion, it’s here a day late.” Thankfully his Christmas greetings were on time. Watch Kermit and Pepé wish fans a merry Christmas in the video below.

Resident diva Miss Piggy, meanwhile, was upfront about the fact she was extending holiday wishes out of “another blitz of marketing and self-promotion.”
