A few hours before the writer-actor’s latest Golden Globes hosting gig, Gervais tweeted a shirtless photo of himself, along with a warning to sensitive viewers and a word you most definitely cannot say on television. Warning: See the NSFW tweet below. This morning, Gervais appeared on NBC’s Today show to declare, “I’ve got to bite the hand that feeds me. I’ve got to have a go at NBC, at the Hollywood Foreign Press — with good humor. I don’t want this nauseating, backslapping ‘aren’t we all great’ … yeah, we know we’re all great. It’s entertainment, it’s fairyland, it’s TV, this isn’t real, we’re … not saving lives.” This is Gervais’ fourth time hosting the Golden Globes, and first since 2012.
