But one thing they won’t be viewing is the new, NSFW red band trailer for Ash vs Evil Dead, the Bruce Campbell-starring horror-comedy show, which, according to the folks at Starz, has been deemed “too gory” to show at the event. Is this really true? Or phoney-baloney hucksterism? We cannot say. Although we can say the clip features new cast members Lee Majors — who play’s Ash’s father — and Ted Raimi, em>and that it has blood to spare. Evil Dead superfan Kid Cudi premiered the trailer on his Twitter account, along with a whole bunch of excitement and emojis. See his tweets — and that bloody red band trailer — below. Starz also released a cool, retro poster in time for Comic-Con, which will be available at the Ash vs Evil Dead cabin in Petco Park Interactive Zone during the big event this weekend. Starz Ash vs Evil Dead season 2 is expected to premiere this October on Starz.
