Drew Barrymore hosts painting class with half-naked Summer House stars Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke

"We forgot it was daytime television and we thought we were going right down to the skins," Cooke joked.

Summer House’s Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke are leaning into their creative sides this Valentine’s Day.

The Bravo reality stars made a surprise appearance on Wednesday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show dressed in nothing but some heart-emblazoned boxers in order to model for a painting class that was being held for some of their biggest fans.

Barrymore started the segment off by praising Radke and Cooke for “being playful” and “fulfilling this fantasy” for the four longstanding Summer House fans who were participating in the onstage class. The pair were then placed on their own rotating platforms so, Barrymore said, the artists could “get every angle.”

Cooke revealed, however, that he was fully willing to strip down even further if needed. “We agreed to be naked,” he teased. “We forgot it was daytime television and we thought we were going right down to the skins.”

When Barrymore asked if the pair if they would’ve actually gone completely nude, Cooke easily replied, “Of course.”

Radke, on the other hand, was a bit more reserved. “Our mothers watch [the show],” he said. “It’s good that we’re a little more covered up.”

Barrymore then asked Radke, who is newly single after calling off his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard last year, whether he prefers to be in a relationship or single.

“I am learning how to navigate being single,” he explained. “I think, for right now, it’s the best thing for me, but I do want to get married and have a family at some point. But, I think, I’m trying to heal, trying to take care of myself and focus on my career, my family, and my friends.”

Consider Barrymore fully on board. “That is so smart,” she praised. “The reason I believe that’s intelligence is because you have self-awareness.”

Radke's Instagram Story revealed that the pair had plenty of fun backstage at the show, too. In one clip, Cooke can be seen doing push-ups in his dressing room, while Radke recited Ron Burgundy's eclectic tongue twisters from Anchorman into his mirror in another.
