Jacobs — author, experiential journalist, and former EW staffer — is returning to his love of puzzles for a new daily podcast from iHeartPodcasts. "The Puzzler" — named after Jacobs' 2022 book — is a short-form daily podcast in which Jacobs and his Chief Puzzle Officer Greg Pliska will challenge celebrity guests to a variety of audio-friendly brain-teasers, including anagrams and palindromes, riddles, trivia, and original games including "Ask ChatGPT." In the segment, Jacobs challenges Jennings to "Name that Game Show Sound Effect," and though it's a subject Jennings should be familiar with — in addition to Jeopardy!, he's competed on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? — the player known as "the Professor" is stumped more than once.
