With Arrow, The Flash, and Black Lightning on hiatus until the Olympics are over, this week on Superhero Insider, we're focusing on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which aired one of its best episodes ever. A touching bottle episode inspired by Groundhog Day, "Here I Go Again" is entirely focused on Zari (Tala Ashe), who finds herself trapped in an hour-long time loop that restarts each time the Waverider explodes for a seemingly unknown reason. The script calls on Ashe to juggle both lighthearted moments (see: that delightful mid-episode "fun montage") and heavier ones, like when Zari tries to break the never-ending cycle by killing herself, and Ashe proves she's more than up to the task. She perfectly conveys Zari's growing desperation as she's forced to die over and over and over again, as well as Zari's growing affection for the team. I can't decide what I enjoyed most about this episode: Ashe's fantastic chemistry with the rest of the cast, especially Nick Zano, or the heartwarming speech Zari gives to the Legends before she tries to sacrifice herself to save them from the bomb. Hopefully, Zari's renewed commitment to the team at the end of the hour means Ashe will be sticking around the show beyond this season.
