Season 4 of Better Call Saul concluded with a key moment of transformation for Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman, indicating a dark path ahead. So… should we lighten things up before heading down a criminal road to hell? Let’s do that. Arriving May 7, the Blu-ray and DVD of the Breaking Bad prequel’s fourth season features a five-plus-minute gag reel that includes myriad gaffes, false starts, and general loopiness that comes with the territory of filming a cunning character study.

Here, we present an exclusive 75-second preview of the reel that will answer a few key questions: Can Rhea Seehorn (a.k.a. Kim) say the word “models” without losing it? Can Bob Odenkirk (Jimmy McGill) toss something to Joe DeRosa (Caldera) without hitting a lamp? Will Jonathan Banks (Mike) become adorably cranky multiple times whilst filming a scene? Will German actor Rainer Bock (Werner) have to cut short a moment of improvisation because he’s running out of English words?

(Spoiler alert: No. No. Yes. Yes.)

In addition to audio commentary from the stars and producers on all 10 episodes, Better Call Saul: Season Four includes seven deleted scenes, a few storyboard scene comparisons, a directorial walk-through, featurettes that delve into Kim’s dance on the dark side, and a look at the construction of the superlab, as well as those Madrigal Security Training Videos with Mike Ehrmantraut and, sure, a short film featuring the Kettlemans.

Let’s face it: You’ve got a lot of time to kill before Saul Goodman returns to misadventure; Better Call Saul — which also stars Giancarlo Esposito, Patrick Fabian, and Michael Mando — just began filming episodes for season 5, which will debut in early 2020.
