EW's editorial guidelines Published on April 27, 2022 09:00PM EDT Warning: This article contains spoilers about Wednesday night's episode of The Masked Singer. One contestant headed back to the Ice Age this week on The Masked Singer. After last week's Rudy Giuliani reveal, tonight's episode was a welcome return to normal (or, normal for The Masked Singer, that is). It kicked off with Queen Cobra, and if it wasn't obvious before that there's more than one person to the mask, it was crystal clear in this episode. The group ended their performance of "I Say a Little Prayer" by Aretha Franklin with some sweet harmonies, prompting panelist Robin Thicke to make one of his infamous dad jokes: "I am almost serpent you guys are going to the finals." Space Bunny went next, singing "All Night Long (All Night)" by Lionel Richie, which was followed up by Baby Mammoth's take on "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss)" by Cher. Proving once again that she is the contestant truly having the most fun out there, she debuted her own "Baby Mammoth" song on stage after her performance. "All we need is a bridge," Thicke joked. Showing off some serious vocal chops was the Prince, who brought the house down and the Nicole Scherzinger tears out with his rendition of "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith. Unfortunately, as always, someone had to get the boot. Like with the first two groups of contestants this season, the second episode for this batch required a duel to determine who would go on to next week. It was a showdown of cuddly proportions, with Baby Mammoth and Space Bunny getting the lowest amount of votes. Baby Mammoth performs on 'The Masked Singer.'. Michael Becker/FOX The panel could barely contain their laughter as both contestants chose rather humorous songs for the occasion — "Me Too" by Meghan Trainor for Baby Mammoth, followed by "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" by Culture Club for Space Bunny. And although the matchup was what panelist Ken Jeong called "the most adorable duel ever," someone still had to go home. Unfortunately, it was Baby Mammoth who was forced to unmask, and the guesses as to her true identity were all over the place. Jeong stuck with his earlier guess of Reese Witherspoon, and Thicke went with a possibly more left field guess than that when he said Kirsten Dunst. Scherzinger went with a guess from last week with chef Rachael Ray. In the end, it was Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg who finally pieced it all together, and correctly deduced that the taffeta-covered pachyderm was none other than Emmy-winning actress Kirstie Alley.
