✨✨The Four Reasons education team has been extended once again: Heini Kivekäs has been appointed as an educator at Four Reasons. ✨✨ Heini has been working in the hair industry for 14 years, the last eight of which she has been self-employed. Heini is a professional hairdresser, make-up artist, beautician, nail technician and make-up artist and is currently completing her Master of Science degree in Esthetics. Heini describes sharing knowledge as a passion, which will certainly be useful in her future role as an educator. "I have been working as a beauty entrepreneur in Australia for the past five years and returned to Finland in early 2024. I completed my Master's degree there and strengthened my business skills. Before my Australian adventures, you may have met me on Four Reasons Trend Tours, at educations or, for example, at the big Four Reasons Optima Launch Event in 2018. I've been a loyal fan of the Four Reasons Color Mask products for years. It's really great and very useful to have a pair of products - toning shampoo and conditioner in the same shade! The wide range of shades, the conditioning formula and the high pigment content make the Color Mask products unbeatable on the market! A hair product or even a visit to the hair salon is not a necessity. We could probably make do without them. But the truth is that we don’t want to. Because for most of us, hair is a big deal. Hair is a part of our identity, it plays a part in our mood, it is a way to express yourself. That is why we don’t use just any hair products. Three years ago, we at Four Reasons began systematic sustainability work by creating a sustainability program based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Although we have achieved significant results, we acknowledge that sustainability work is ongoing and requires years of effort. Here are our most significant achievements from last year: ⭐ We transitioned to using recycled aluminum in Four Reasons Optima color tubes, saving six tons of aluminum annually. ⭐ 40 % of the plastic packaging for Four Reasons products sold in 2023 was recycled plastic or bio-based plastic. ⭐ 30 % of the Four Reasons products sold in 2023 were manufactured in Finland at our factory, where we use 100 % renewable energy. ⭐ We successfully reduced emissions from the use of company cars by 18 % by switching to electric vehicles. ⭐ By the end of 2023, 80 %* of our suppliers had signed their commitment to our ethical operating guidelines. ⭐ We achieved an eNPS recommendation index of 43 in the employee survey. Me Four Reasonsilla aloitimme kolme vuotta sitten systemaattisen vastuullisuustyön luomalla YK:n kestävän kehityksen tavoitteisiin perustuvan vastuullisuusohjelman. Vaikka olemme saavuttaneetkin merkittäviä tuloksia, tiedostamme, että vastuullisuustyö on jatkuvaa ja vaatii vielä vuosien työtä.
