Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
142 PM CDT Thu Sep 12 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Near and below critical minimum relative humidity is expected
across western portions of the area through Saturday. Despite
this, light winds and low ERCs keep fire weather concerns low.
Overnight recovery remains good through the weekend. A slight
cooling and moistening trend arrives next week further limiting
fire weather concerns. Rain chances remain slim outside of the
Sacramento Foothills area next week.
