If you get an IHG One Rewards credit card like the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card or the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, it won’t take you long to accrue 60,000 or even 120,000 IHG One Rewards points to spend on your next adventure.

But where should you go? After all, a budget of 60,000 points per night can open a lot of doors at IHG properties around the world.

For my part, I did my best to find five highly compelling options. These properties offer an excellent mix of value, luxury, amenities, walkability and, of course, unforgettable surroundings. So without further ado, here are the five best IHG hotels under 60,000 points per night.

1. Crowne Plaza Paris – Republique

“60,000 points sounds like a lot, but surely it’s not enough for a 4-star hotel in Paris.”

Au contraire.

As a matter of fact, 60,000 points is just enough to book a standard room at the Crowne Plaza Paris – Republique, a stunning property with a sunny central courtyard that’s perfect for sipping wine and practicing your French (“un autre baguette, s’il vous plaît – another baguette, please!”).

On a map, the Crowne Plaza Paris – Republique may not appear to be in an ideal location. After all, it’s well outside of walking distance (3+ miles) from Notre Dame, the Champs-Élysées and the Louvre. And perhaps that’s why this property remains one of the more “affordable” 4-star hotels in Paris.

But in Western Europe, the next best thing to being close is being close to a metro. And the Crowne Plaza Paris – Republique happens to be right next to a major five-way junction, meaning you’re a short walk (and ride) away from virtually all of Paris. And even though it’s not as well known, the Place de la République where the hotel is located is a lovely spot on its own.

While the Parisian metro may be immensely practical, it’s not exactly scenic. Perhaps you’d rather spend your 60,000 points getting as much sunshine as possible, even at the expense of speed.

In other words, perhaps you’d rather float instead.

2. Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena

If you have 60,000 points to spend on an IHG property, you might find yourself facing a tough choice:

Do I go island-hopping?
Or somewhere they serve handmade pasta?

If you go to Northern Italy, however, you don’t have to choose. Technically speaking, the “floating” city of Venice is built upon 120 separate, tiny islands – almost like Italy’s own Hawaii – and daytime temperatures hover in the 70s and low 80s from May to late September, so you can enjoy a warm Mediterranean breeze while you finish your white wine bigoli.

Better still, there are numerous IHG properties within Venice that fall within our 60,000-point budget. I even found nights at the splendid Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena starting at just 36,000 points for a Queen Bed Standard.

Rates tend to rise in the summer (no surprise), but if you don’t mind donning a sweater on your gondola ride, you’ll have plenty of affordable room options during the spring and fall.

If you do mind donning a sweater on vacation, I totally get it. So how far will 60,000 points take you if you’re looking somewhere that’s 81 degrees year-round?

3. Intercontinental Bali Resort

60,000 IHG One Rewards Points takes you far in Bali. Very far.

Case in point, I found multiple King Classic Garden View Balcony rooms at the Intercontinental Bali Resort for just 42,000 points per night. Figuring this was a fluke, I pushed the dates back a few months – and the price dropped to 32,000 points.

And just to be clear, we’re talking about a 5-star beachfront resort. That’s 32,000 points per night for this:

Now, if you’re the adventurous type who likes to “earn” your massage at the end of the day, you should know that the Intercontinental Bali Resort isn’t some clinical, isolated pamper-palace. In fact, it’s right in the middle of the action:  There’s a local supermarket right across the street, an outdoor mall within walking distance and countless parks, temples and forest tours just a short cab ride away.

But maybe Bali, Paris and Venice aren’t your thing. Maybe you’d prefer to go off the beaten path with your 60,000 points and visit somewhere brag-worthy and unique. Ideally somewhere you’ve never even heard of.

Well, have you heard of Larnaca?

4. Hotel Indigo Larnaca (Cyprus)

Larnaca (sometimes written as Larnaka) is the third largest city in the tiny island nation of Cyprus, which itself is located off the southern coast of Turkey. Aside from stunning views and glistening seawater, Larnaca offers a compelling mix of new and old to explore – you’ll find beach bars, medieval taverns, honey farms, historic monuments, food tours and more.

Located within walking distance from the beach and Pattihio Forest Park, the 4-star Hotel Indigo Larnaca falls well within our 60,000-point budget on most nights. The adults-only hotel also features a rooftop pool that overlooks the city and surrounding water, which doubles as a perch to observe up to 370 different bird species soaring overhead on their migratory route to Africa.

Although Larnaca is undeniably unique and serene once you get there, the trip itself can be quite the odyssey—the two-part, 15-hour flight from Atlanta starts around $1,200, which can put quite a dent in your Chase Ultimate Rewards® balance.

So perhaps you’d prefer to spend your 60k IHG One Rewards points a little closer to home.

5. Hotel Indigo Nashville – The Countrypolitan

There’s a reason Nashville has become the bachelorette party capital of the world, according to CNN. Compared to Vegas it’s cheaper, more walkable, less focused on gambling and the live music doesn’t cost $97.50 per ticket.

Heck, some nights you can just walk right into a Honky Tonk (read: country music bar) for free.

As someone who went to college 1.5 miles from Nashville’s Lower Broadway, I didn’t even like country music before I got there. But the city crackles with so much love and positive energy that before you know it, you’ll be belting out verses of Wagon Wheel with total strangers.

Since new cowboy boots can take a while to break in, you’ll want to saddle your horse somewhere that’s just a short “mosey” down to Lower Broadway. Luckily, the Hotel Indigo Nashville aka “The Countrypolitan” is just three blocks away, with rooms available just below 60,000 points per night.

While it’s technically a 3-star property, it hardly matters when you’re located right inside the beating heart of “NashVegas.”

The takeaway

Needless to say, 60,000 IHG One Rewards points can take you incredibly far and wide. From a Balinese beachfront resort to a sleepy boutique hotel on the southern tip of Venice, your options are virtually endless.
