FOX 17 News remains in a Code Red weather alert for continued dangerous heat across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
We hit 100 degrees Sunday for the first time this year in Nashville.
Last time we hit 100 in Nashville was August 25, 2023.
High temperatures will flirt with 100 degrees through Tuesday.
Rain chances begin to ramp up for Wednesday and Thursday.
Highs will drop down to the mid and upper 80s for the end of the week, finally bringing us some much needed relief.
