Stroke is the 2nd leading cause of death and disability worldwide, and 25% of us will have at least 1 stroke in our lifetime. When it happens, 2 million neurons die every minute, so time is brain. However, the public, ambulances, and even non-specialized caregivers can not easily recognize a stroke, so lots of time is lost at diagnosis. Even in the US, 40%+ of ischemic stroke patients arrive too late for effective treatments. AI-Stroke is leveraging advanced AI and ML to enable earlier & easier stroke diagnostics to help patients save precious time and save their brains.

An Exciting Day for Our NETVA Start-Ups in Boston! 🚀 On Day 3 of their Immersion Week in Boston, our three #NETVA start-ups had an incredible opportunity to participate in the Boston Paris Biotechnology Summit. 💡 During this day-long seminar, they confidently pitched their innovative ideas in front of pharmaceutical industry leaders. We started the one-week Netva program in Boston yesterday and already had a fantastic day with many wonderful business meetings!
Launch of #NETVA2024 (New Technology Venture Accelerator) Boston Immersion Week! Organized by France Science at the Consulate General of France in Boston, this week promises to be an invaluable experience for our participants. Throughout the week, our Science and Technology Officer, Jean-Philippe NICOLAI, is accompanying Cédric JAVAULT from AI-Stroke, Jonathan Levy from PepKon, Zakia BELAID-SANDAL, and Badia Ferzaz from THERANOVIR as they engage in over twenty-five meetings with a diverse group of experts, ranging from academia to startups and industry professionals. Kicking off the week, the French-American Biotechnology Springboard offered a comprehensive introduction to Boston's vibrant startup scene. Many thanks to all our partners at the FACCNE ⎮ French-American Chamber of Commerce, New England for making this session a success The delegation then visited Bernstein Private Wealth Management's Boston office, where they learned about strategic financial planning and wealth management services.
