    We invite you to read the following study on "Scanless two-photon voltage imaging" by teams from Institut de la Vision, Rice University, and Baylor College of Medicine. This research introduces a new method for high-contrast, high-resolution voltage imaging using Amplitude lasers. Our Amplitude Goji laser, operating at 1030 nm with a high power output of 5W and a repetition rate from 10 to 40 MHz, excels in characterising scanless two-photon voltage imaging. This laser is ideal for photostimulation and voltage imaging of a few cells in slices. It offers enhanced imaging precision and is tailored for specific studies, providing high precision for neuronal and cellular investigations. The Amplitude Satsuma HP2 series, known for its flexible repetition rates and high power levels, supports efficient multi-cell recordings. This capability advances the study of multiple neuronal targets simultaneously, broadening the scope of neural research. These lasers offer scalability for multi-cell recordings, optimized performance with consistent and precise outputs, and adaptability for diverse experimental setups. This study, led by Ruth R.     Day 3 of the Photonics TALENT Summer School! 🚀   Today we had the pleasure of welcoming over 50 enthusiastic students from across Europe to our production facility at Amplitude HQ. These Masters & PhD students are participants in the Photonics TALENT Summer School, organised in collaboration with our consortium partners ALPhANOV, TOPTICA Photonics, Exail, ALPHA-RLH, le pôle français des ondes de l'innovation   Highlights of Today's Visit: 🌟 Laser Applications: Students were given an insight into our latest laser technologies and their diverse applications in key industries such as display and automotive. 🏭 Production Tour: Students got an exclusive look behind the scenes at our production facilities, witnessing firsthand the precision and expertise involved in our manufacturing processes. 💼 Job Portraits: After presenting a range of careers at Amplitude, we shared stories from our team members, discussed their diverse roles, and explored the exciting future of photonics. There were lots of fruitful exchanges during the visit.     📣 Our Tangor 300 Ultrafast Laser continues to make waves in the research community! An article by Electro Optics highlights the groundbreaking work at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Center for Electro-Optics for Surface Processing (FLSP). The Tangor 300, funded by the Defense University Research Instrumentation Program, is revolutionizing surface functionalization by addressing scalability issues and enabling high-throughput processing.     🚀 Amplitude Contributes to the New FLAME Chapter In 2009, Amplitude Laser commissioned the FLAME (Frascati Laser for Acceleration and Multidisciplinary Experiments) laser, delivering a 200 TW at 10 Hz for the prestigious INFN facility in Frascati (LNF), nestled near Rome in Italy. 👁🗨What is FLAME? Installed in the SPARC_LAB Test Facility of INFN, for the past 13 years, FLAME has been a source of innovation, attracting international researchers eager to conduct groundbreaking experiments on laser-matter interaction at high laser intensity. FLAME’s unique capabilities have propelled scientific advancements and established it as a cornerstone of Italy's research landscape. Thanks to the expertise and customer-focused After-Sales Service provided by Amplitude, coupled with the knowledgeable team at INFN-LNF, the FLAME laser has delivered cutting-edge performance for more than a decade. ✨Now, we're thrilled to announce a new chapter for FLAME. Amplitude Laser has been honored with multiple contracts from INFN to enhance and upgrade this remarkable laser. The project includes modernizing the front end, upgrading the main amplifier's pump lasers, and integrating a second vacuum compressor. This ambitious endeavor signifies a step forward in FLAME's capabilities, unlocking new potential for discovery and innovation. To achieve this transformation, FLAME will undergo a temporary shutdown before summer 2024, with plans to resume operations by early 2025 post-upgrade. As we prepare to embark on this journey, we're filled with anticipation for the groundbreaking discoveries and advancements that await.
