#CSR   The second phase of the Blue Carbon project is now complete: 100 new mangroves planted! 🌳   Why mangroves? Mangrove forests play a crucial role in the fight against climate change. They capture and store massive amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in their carbon-rich soils for millennia.   3 key phases: 🌍Phase 1: A campaign to clean up coral reefs and mangroves was successfully carried out in February 🌍Phase 2: Planting of 100 mangroves, a further step towards our overall objective 🌍Phase 3: Scheduled for the end of 2024, it will take us further with the planting of additional mangroves   This project is part of a wider initiative by Colas Rail Egypt teams to plant a total of 1,000 mangroves.   #OnTrackForASustainableFuture #WeAreColasRail #DrivenBy #CSR #ColasRail

#CSR   Let's keep our beaches clean! 🌊   To celebrate World Plastic Free Day, teams working on the Casablanca tramway project in Morocco gathered with a common goal: to clean up the beach at Ain Sebaa 🏖️   Around 20 employees were made aware of environmental issues and took part in the clean-up.   What did they find? #PressRelease 📜 Work on the #CDGExpress is going well for Colas Rail! 🚉 We are continuing work on the tracks for the CDG Express, the direct rail link connecting Paris-Est station to Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport in 20 minutes. ⌚ As part of this project, we are responsible for designing and building the tracks and catenaries in zones G and H, the final sections of the line between Mitry-Mory and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. 🛬 On behalf of SNCF Réseau, the consortium led by Spie batignolles Valerian is building 5.8km of new rail infrastructure including designing and building earthworks, drainage works, engineering structures, track laying, the installation of catenary wires and civil engineering for signalling. #Commissioning 🚉   Since Sunday lunchtime, passengers have been able to board the Luxembourg tram at Luxexpo to reach the national stadium at la cloche d'or. 🇱🇺   This new 3.7km section went into service on Sunday 7 July with 5 new stations to provide a better, more direct transport offer with other means of transport in Luxembourg City. 📍   As a reminder, on this project our Colas Rail France teams, had won 2 contracts on the D1 section on behalf of our client LUXTRAM SA linking the Lycée Bouneweg station to the Y Bridge.   As lead contractor, we were in charge of the platform and track section, in a consortium with TRALUX Construction & KARP-KNEIP. The works programme included: 🛤️ ✅The earthworks and railway platform ✅ Laying 1.7km of track ✅2 passenger stations ✅Laying of the multi-tubular track, surfacing of the platform as a green track ✅58 OCL beds ✅Civil engineering ✅Creation of an underground substation   As well as the power & OCL, which included: 🔌 ✅The design, supply, works, inspections and tests required to build the fixed and mobile installations ✅Low & high voltage energy works  ✅Traction  ✅Ventilation of the electrical substation    Well done to all the teams from our three entities working together on this project for their excellent work 👏   📸 RTL Infos #ColasRail #UrbanMobility #Luxembourg #Tramway #Railway

With a strong interest in railways, she joined the ESTACA - Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile on a three-year engineering course specialising in operations and maintenance. ⚙️ She began her career at Alstom as a design and logistics methods engineer in Alsace region. Then, after 5e years on the job, she moved closer to her family in Ile-de-France where she became a consultant and carried out assignments for RATPgroup & Edeis in tender and project management in the execution phase for 3 years. 🤝 She then joined Colas Rail, at our Les Mureaux site (Paris area), as a locomotive project officer for RAMFER. She held this position for 2 years before moving on to become a private/public tender officer. ✅ What does she do? When a prospect contacts her or a call for tenders is published, she is responsible for preparing the technical and commercial offer that best meets their needs. She is also involved in managing the project with a team of 4 technical experts. Ramfer is focusing more on passenger maintenance, a fast-growing segment. 🚅 What motivates her? To draw on the experience and know-how of her colleagues to provide the best possible response to call for tenders! 📜 RAMFER in 1 word? Balance! ⚖️ When she joined Colas Rail, she wanted to find a better work-life balance. She loves her team, who are caring, good listeners and in a good frame of mind! #NewContract ✅   On behalf of DB Cargo France, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, our RAMFER brand will be carrying out heritage maintenance on five G1000 locomotives VOSSLOH. The 5 locomotives will be immobilised at our workshops in Les Mureaux (Paris area) and Grenay (Lyon area). 🚂   The programme includes: ➡️5 IT8A maintenances (maintenance every eight years) ➡️3 engine overhauls ➡️3 axle overhauls   These locomotives will be serviced by 3 technicians per machine.
