Another one for the books: The 1st Congress of Skin Imaging AND Dermatological Surgery in Marseille! Dr François Habib & Damae Medical’s head of AI, Sebastien Fischman, introduced artificial intelligence for diagnostics and preoperative margin delineation with deepLive™! These innovations were also at the heart of many other scientific presentations during this joint congress: - Prof Mariano Suppa presented all available LC-OCT techniques, concluding that deepLive™ is the most advanced technology for in vivo margin delineation. - The team from Ambroise Paré (Dr. Leire Gonzalez Lara, Dr. Romain Samaran and Dr. Marie Chapalain) showed how they managed to reduce Mohs surgery steps and save more healthy skin for the patient. 🌪 Conclusion: GICNI was a whirlwind of innovation & inspiration! 🇦🇺 First deepLive™ in Australia! We are incredibly pleased to share the news of our latest installation: the first deepLive™ device in Australia! Having received regulatory approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), we are poised to revolutionize patient care Down Under. With the help of Professor Pascale Guitera and her team at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital affiliated with the University of Sydney and Melanoma Institute Australia, deepLive™ is opening the door to study the potential of new sunscreen products to protect patients with actinic keratosis, the prevailing precancerous skin condition attributed to prolonged exposure to sunlight. In addition, the team will investigate complex melanoma diagnosis for nodular, desmoplastic and acral melanomas using LC-OCT technology.
