Not only attending, but also presenting! Who would have thought that differential diagnosis for complications in hip or knee prosthesis placements would draw such a crowd? We were thrilled to showcase our AI-driven platform for imaging structuring and analysis, already equipped with tools for post-arthroplasty assessments.  The audience was engaged and brimming with ideas for future research projects! 🏆 Celebrating women athletes and Paris 2024 Summer Olympics 💡[Did you know?] 📝 Women athletes History before statistics: In 1900 in Paris, women competed in the Olympic Games for the first time. This year 2024, women and men athletes are equally represented in the competitions, for the first time ever! 📊 What about women and men' injuries during the Games? 1️⃣ A similar injury incidence was observed during Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics: When adjusting for sport, age and National Olympic Committee size, there was no difference in overall injury incidence between women (8.6 injuries per 100 athletes) and men (9.6). 2️⃣ However, female athletes were at significantly higher risk of injury in artistic gymnastics, while at lower risk in baseball/softball and boxing. #Olympics #Paralympics #Deemea #clinicalresearch #RWE #medicalimaging

🔁 [REPLAY] Startup Connect 🗓️ On July 4, Deemea had the pleasure of participating in the 2nd edition of Startup Connect 🔹 This event highlighted innovations, collaborations and challenges between start-ups and key players in the healthcare sector. 🤝 A superb opportunity to bring together actors in the healthcare data ecosystem! 📍We attended 3 fascinating presentations: 1️⃣ Success stories from 3 start-ups reusing and adding value to healthcare data: - Implicity: heart failure attacks prediction in patients with pacemakers, using a risk score for cardiac decompensation - Ospi: analysis of head trauma care pathways - Epiconcept company: breast cancer detection 2️⃣ Presentation: how to run your project with the HDH? 135 projects supported, involving 34 companies including 18 start-ups.
