The VIAVI Solutions Railway Team is currently at the 4th FRMCS Plugtests event, taking place at the ETSI HQ in Sophia Antipolis, France, from July 1-5, 2024. Organized by ETSI with the support of the European Commission, EFTA, TCCA-Critical Communications, and UIC - International union of railways #UICrail, it focuses on testing the interoperability of #railway mobile communication systems based on #3GPP Mission Critical Services. At the event, we will be showcasing our advanced drive testing capabilities. Our drive test units are equipped with #5G modems to test #MCx over 5G (#MCPTT, #MCVideo and #MCData), and two #GSMR mobile to perform interoperability test across GSM-R and MCx. Our goal being to further enhance interoperability and performance in railway communications.
