[PROJECT] 🙌 A first in stay-cable structure and a record for Freyssinet India on the Mumbai coastal road project!   📍 Mumbai, India    🚀 What have we achieved?   👉Design, supply, and installation of stay cable clevis anchorage hangers. 👉Installation of a massive girder weighing more than 30 Boeing jets, connecting the coastal road to the Worli Bandra Sea Link.   🌉 Drawing inspiration from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, this project presented challenging tasks that tested our skills and dedication.   For the first time in India, Freyssinet India has introduced the clevis anchor anchorage system in stay cable for superstructure installation.   Impact: sets new standards in construction technology and methodology.   👉 Record-breaking installation Achieved in 20 days: installed a 2,000 MT bowstring arch span at Worli Coastal Road. New record: successfully installed the second bowstring arch weighing 2,500 MT, the heaviest span on Coastal Road.   👉 Precision in severe conditions  Challenge: placement with only a 2.8m gap from the existing arch. Conditions: executed float-over operations in mid-May amid severe marine conditions.   Our team’s expertise and resilience ensured seamless execution. [PROJECT UPDATE] Building stronger foundations for tomorrow, as a Freyssinet team!   📍 Puerto Rico   ❔ The Jesús Izcoa Moure Bridge, also known as the Puente Atirantado de Naranjito, connecting the vibrant cities of Toa Alta & Naranjito. ✨ This bridge has 96 cable stays supporting a main span of 160 meters and two side spans of 80 meters each!   ⌚ Originally constructed in 2008 Our repair work: October 2023- October 2024   Freyssiney's works? 👉 Replacing the structure’s lower anchorage caps 👉 Conducting fillet welding, microcrystalline wax injection, elastomeric wrapping, and neoprene boot replacement on the bridge’s stay cables, ensuring longevity and safety for all commuters 👉 Bearing resetting & PT inspection/vacuum grouting, further enhancing the bridge's structural integrity   👀 Where do we stand? We are currently performing elastomeric cable wrapping on all 96 cables and we will replace all 96 lower and 96 upper neoprene boots.   🚧 Next steps? [PROJECT] 🔥 Exciting news from Freyssinet Middle East!  👀 Did you know that elevated RC tanks were infamous back in the 20th century?   👉 Discover the success of our latest project—a challenging restoration of a 43-year-old elevated RC tank. Severe defects were observed, including ring beams, periphery walls, access shafts, etc, hence a requirement for structural review and immediate action were risen.   🚧 Our work? We developed a comprehensive methodology, ensuring the safety and longevity of this essential infrastructure. The structure was restored to its original condition and capacity through a one-month design process followed by a two months of meticulous on-site works: ✔ 3D modeling of water tower ✔ detailed construction stage analysis ✔ development of a customized, in-house steel support structure for temporary use ✔ successful execution of works with extreme safety precautions   👏 This achievement speaks volumes about the talent and commitment of our Freyssinet team members!   #repair #sustainabletechnology
